Play around with the tools and ideas behind much of the popular music of recent years. We'll walk you through the different components of digital music production, providing a step-by-step approach to creating loops, beats, bass lines, melodies, and arrangements. Learn and experiment with the techniques for creating new music in a range of digital programs, so you can begin creating your digital music right away. You can use whatever computer program you would like to follow along with this course, but we recommend Ableton Live for any producer just getting started. This program will encourage the sharing of musical ideas as well as offer new ways to look at music-making.
