  • Current requirements and hygiene regulations

The new SARS-CoV-2 ordinance from August 17, 2021, is based on the principle that vaccinated and recovered persons can use all facilities and services. A test is mandatory to attend class. Vaccinated or recovered persons can come without a test.

Please upload proof of vaccination, recovery or a negative test before the start of your class by clicking this link.

Our teachers and staff are there for you as soon as you show up "in person" for your class, freshly tested and demonstrably healthy - please do the same!

The following rules and regulations must be observed during your visit to the School Of Voice:

    • The AHA-L rules - keep your distance, observe hygiene, wear a mask, ventilate regularly - still apply.
    • Admission only with a medical or FFP2 mask. The mask may only be removed for singing and must be worn at all other times.
    • When singing and playing wind instruments, a distance of at least 2 meters must be maintained in enclosed spaces.
    • Formation of groups is not permitted, the prescribed minimum distance (generally 1.50 m, 2 m when singing) must be observed at all times.
    • In case of signs of illness, please stay at home, a visit to the School Of Voice is not possible, even with a negative test.
    • Visitors who have had contact with a COVID 19 patient in the last 14 days or who are suffering from an upper respiratory tract infection themselves are not allowed to enter the facility.
    • Visitors with chronic respiratory illnesses who cannot wear a medical mask put themselves and others at increased risk of infection. We strongly discourage attendance.

    • Both individual lessons and group lessons can take place in IN-PERSON.

(!) Indoor events with more than ten persons present at the same time can only be attended by persons who can show an official negative antigen rapid test or can prove complete vaccination protection or recovery are allowed to participate. There is no testing requirement for outdoor offerings (this does not apply to choral singing).
    • Prior separate booking of appointments is mandatory, booking of your course participation is done directly in our online booking system or through our office.

    • Participants must be able to show an official negative antigen rapid test or prove full vaccination protection or recovery:

(!) The maximum number of choir singers depends on the room size and spacing regulations.
(!) To protect against droplet infections, a minimum distance of 2 meters between singers must be maintained.
(!) Singing together may not exceed 60 minutes per performance or rehearsal.
    • For your safety, we also test ourselves more than regularly.

The following persons are exempt from compulsory testing upon presentation of appropriate proof:

    • Fully vaccinated (14 days after the 2nd vaccination date).
    • Convalescent individuals who can demonstrate a positive PCR test result for SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infection more than six months ago and who have received at least one vaccination against Covid-19 with a vaccine approved by the European Union and whose last vaccination was at least 14 days ago.
    • Convalescent individuals who can demonstrate a positive PCR test result for SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infection at least 28 days and no more than six months ago.
  • The hygiene and infection protection standards of the Hygiene Framework Concept of the Berlin Senate Department for Culture, based on the SARS-CoV-2 Infection Protection Measures Ordinance, as amended, apply.
