    Siggy Davis, an international performing artist, is well-known in the areas of Broadway musicals and jazz. She is a National Scholar in the Arts, a Shakespeare Fellow, and a Graduate of Howard University, Washington, D.C., USA.

    Based in Berlin, Siggy has toured some 20 countries in her wide-ranging career. Her New York and international credits include playing Effie in "Dreamgirls" at Theater des Westens, Queenie in "Show Boat" at The Bad Hersfeld Festspiele, Pokie in "A star ain't nothing but a hole in heaven" at The Billie Holiday Theater, and Selica in the Giacomo Meyerbeer opera "The Afrikanerin" at Theater Konstanz, Bodensee Festival. Most recently, Siggy produced and starred in the European premiere of "Dinah Was" and wrote and produced her one woman show "Sirens" which is presently touring. Intermittently, Siggy Davis is touring as Judy in "Motown, Die Legende" and playing with her Quartett Ensemble, The Master Class Project and as a Guest of the Hannover Big Band. 

  • Siggy Davis has taught and lectured also for over 25 years the Pop/Rock course at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg, Salzgitter Pop/Rock course, and The Kurt Masur Jazz Vocal Finalists Workshop among other teaching stints. After over 30 years as a working professional artist Siggy is pleased to be invited to join the Kara Johnstad School of Voice faculty as a Vocal Performance Coach, specializing in the areas of Broadway Musicals, Soul, Jazz, and Pop.
