Katharina is a dynamic and versatile music teacher, singer, and violinist who brings warmth, creativity, and a love of all styles to her teaching.

Classically trained in voice and violin, with a degree in Vocal Performance from Lawrence University, she has sung professionally with acclaimed choral ensembles and performed widely as both a soloist and collaborator.

While her roots are in classical music, Katharina teaches and sings across genres, especially leaning into a passion in traditional Irish music.

She tailors lessons to each student’s pace and goals, always prioritising joy and confidence in learning; whether that means developing healthy vocal technique through body awareness and movement, or exploring general musicianship skills like theory, sight reading, and keyboard basics.

Katharina is of German and American descent and is now based in Berlin, where she teaches voice, violin, and piano, and more in addition to her performing.
