All of our guitar lessons at School Of Voice combine solid instruction in music fundamentals with the student’s personal interests and goals. Guitar students will learn chords, scales, terminology, and technique along with note reading, chord progressions, and theory. Teacher duets are common in our lessons to develop listening and timing skills. Our guitar teachers make sure every student understands proper fretting hand and picking techniques in order to execute challenging melodies and riffs along with chords that are suitable for popular, rock, jazz and other styles of music. Teachers craft each lesson to incorporate the fundamentals of guitar playing with the personal interests of each student.

Students will learn essential guitar techniques, including:

Students will need to acquire a guitar based on the recommendation of your teacher prior to the first lesson and establish a regular practice routine
