The frame drum is one of the oldest percussion instruments on earth. Playing on it has something very archaic, earthy and meditative and at times very energetic when accompanying fast dances.

Various holding positions allow for a wide variation in play. By playing with hands, fingers and mallets we can produce a colorful sound spectrum.

My offerings also include the HANG. This is a melodic-spherical sounding instrument made of metal with different sound fields. The tones blend wonderfully to the sound colors of the frame drum.

My Frame Drum workshops are spiced with body and vocal percussion. This is a light, humorous and relaxed way to adapt to a creative way of rhythm.

Finally, we will enjoy the free play on the frame drum in a drum circle. Pure energy and pure joy of life!

No experience necessary. I understand my offer as a "door opener" for beginners, amateurs and rhythm enthusiasts.

Frame drums are available for rent for a small fee. Please indicate this when you register. It is also possible to bring your own frame drums.
